CARLOS OSORIO - Thomas Wesolowski and Sandy Figueredo work for The Cleaning Company which cleans street furniture in Toronto including as garbage bins and bus shelters. On this night they were cleaning bus shelters on a stretch of Islington Avenue north of Higway 401. They work in pairs. They start by removing any posters or advertising from the shelters. Then they wash and squeegee and pick up any litter in the vicinity. They typically work 12 hours days an mostly at night.
JIM RANKIN - A raccoon gnaws on a piece of fruit at the Toronto Zoo. While this raccoon is part of the zoo's animal collection, many other raccoons are uninvited visitors to the zoo.

RICHARD LAUTENS - Dayanara Orozco Torres, 5, laughs as she jumps out of the play house. Blyadon Public School in the Keele and Wilson area has put in an outdoor classroom for their kindergarden. The kids loved it, but most surprising was the positive impact on children with autism in the diagnostic kindergarten. RICK MADONIK - Just before Toronto Mayor Rob Ford took part in the 69th D-Day celebrations in Nathan Phillips Square, different groups of school children came by his office seeking his signature, all part of an "Amazing Race" from their school. This group got their signature before he went out to the Square.

RICK MADONIK - Police carry bags of goods seized from the house of Muhammed Khattak. Guns and Gang task force raid a number of places in the city. Much of the activity was focused on buildings on Dixon Road. One of the places also investigated was the home of Muhammed Khattak, the third person seen in the photograph with Mayor Rob Ford outside of 15 Windsor Road.
