Royal Wedding tune-up

Some of the members of the Royal Wedding party got in some procession practice this past weekend for the marriage of Katie Percy. (Check out our photo gallery here. We have more Royal galleries here.) Percy is the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland and a friend of Prince William and Kate Middleton. (The Duke and Duchess call Alnwick Castle home, a place that doubles as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.)

Among the Royal Wedding guests in attendance were Pippa Middleton (pictured at right), Kate's sister and maid of honour; 3-year-old Grace van Cutsem; and Chelsy Davy, Prince Harry's on-and-off girlfriend.

Harry and Chelsy have been the subject of intense speculation among royal watchers. Will she be his date or not? Hello! magazine suggests that Chelsy's appearance at the wedding is a good sign.

The 25-year-old is well and truly back in the royal fold, having attended a society wedding earlier in the day with Kate's maid of honour, sister Pippa.

(Speaking of Royal Wedding guests, Colin Firth got a good one off backstage at the Oscars after collecting his Best Actor award for The King's Speech: "As I understand it, the invitations have already gone out," Firth said. "Mine is definitely lost in the post somewhere. I’m working on tracing it.")

Royal Film

And speaking of movies, there are reports that the made-for-TV movie about William and Kate will air on April 18 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC April 24 at 8 p.m. on Slice (in case you want to get your PVR set up). The film stars Ben Cross as Prince Charles, Nico Evers-Swindell as William and Camilla Luddington as Kate.

Just in case you're still craving more after the film, TLC Slice has you covered:

In addition to their dramatic reenactment of the young couple’s burgeoning romance, the network will also air a new documentary mini-series dedicated to their relationship and the preparations for the royal wedding. “Royal Wedding of a Lifetime” will air in six one-hour episodes and will debut immediately after “William and Kate.”

In Canada, this mini-series will air from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 24 on Slice.

We're betting that this will all be available in commemorative DVD sets, so you'll be able to replay it will all your friends, if you still have any.
